Al Plastow grew up in Jackson Township, graduated from Kent State University, University of Akron and earned his Masters in Education back at Kent. He also taught at Kent for several years. Plastow explains his visit to the set as he helps to, "Create and expand The Consortium for Technology Portfolio Management Excellence at Kent State University."
Coffee with SKI appears on WIVM/WIVN in Stark and southern Summit counties as Time Warner digital tier channel 365, Massillon Cable channel 21, and Dover/New Philadelphia channel 99.
With a simple yet direct message over a cup of coffee at the round table, Rhino Island Media seeks to highlight great local businesses in Northeast Ohio via this new cable TV talk show.
The half-hour talk show format seeks to highlight local businesses in the viewing area, taking an in-depth look and the owners, managers and leaders of industry as well as those government and philanthropic endeavors in Northeast Ohio. Viewers can expect to learn about local business across all industries including manufacturing, distribution and retail.
SKI hopes to provide a loud and passionate response to the question, "Why buy local?"
